Terms and Conditions – Jema Experiences

By booking a trip with Jema Experiences, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.


1. Booking and Payment

  • A deposit of 30% of the total trip cost is required to confirm your booking.

  • The remaining 70% must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of your trip.

  • For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of confirmation.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods. Additional fees may apply depending on the payment method.


2. Travel Documents and Responsibilities

  • It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that all passport, visa, and health requirements are met prior to travel.

  • Jema Experiences is not responsible for any issues arising from missing or incorrect travel documentation.


3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations by the traveler:

  • More than 60 days before the trip: Full refund minus administrative fees.

  • 31–60 days before the trip: 50% refund of the deposit.

  • 15–30 days before the trip: No refund of the deposit.

  • Less than 15 days before the trip: No refund.

Cancellations by Jema Experiences:

  • We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, political unrest, or insufficient participants (for group trips).

  • In such cases, we will offer a full refund or credit towards a future trip.


4. Changes to the Itinerary

  • Minor changes to the itinerary may occur due to weather conditions, transportation delays, strikes, or other events beyond our control.

  • Jema Experiences reserves the right to adjust the itinerary as necessary to ensure the safety and quality of the trip.


5. Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance is highly recommended and remains the traveler’s responsibility.

  • Jema Experiences is not liable for any injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage incurred during the trip.


6. Health and Safety

  • Travelers must inform us in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions.

  • Some tours involve physical activity at high altitudes; please consult your physician before booking if you have any health concerns.


7. Liability Disclaimer

Jema Experiences and its partners act only as agents in securing accommodation, transportation, and other travel services. We are not responsible for any delays, accidents, loss, injury, or damage resulting from force majeure, acts of nature, or third-party providers.


8. Use of Photos and Testimonials

  • By participating in our tours, you grant Jema Experiences permission to use photos or video footage taken during the trip for marketing purposes unless you expressly opt out in writing.

  • Testimonials shared via email or feedback forms may also be used for promotional purposes.


9. Privacy Policy

  • We collect only the information necessary to organize your travel experience.

  • Your data will never be sold or shared with third parties except as required to fulfill your travel arrangements.


10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Peru. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Cusco, Peru.
